Dynea Tex is a highly specialised fabric engineered without compromise. While 32 times stronger than traditional Dacron, it’s also 30% lighter, stiffer and more precise than other normal materials used in inflatable kites.
Utilising the strength of Dyneema kite lines, we’ve taken the same Ultra PE Fibers and woven them into a lightweight fabric to give the optimum balance between responsiveness and long-term performance.
Performance FEATURES
- Dynea Tex uses Ultra PE Fibers combined within the woven structure
- Significant weight reduction
- Maximum structural stiffness with less deformation
- Increased responsiveness
- Strong Dynea fibres maximise durability
Specifications
- 32 times stronger than traditional Dacron
- 30% lighter than traditional Dacron and other normal inflatable material
- 30% overall kite weight reduction
- 2x lighter than Carbon Fiber
- 80% better recovery of material and significant increase of form stability under load
- Higher resistance to UV
- 50% less elongation compared to standard material
- 80% better recovery of material and significant increase of form stability under load
- weight = 120g / m2
- used in Leading edge
XT cloth is used in our inflatable structures to allow them to twist while balancing stability and stiffness. XT has high tenacity for performance, developed exclusively in partnership with Teijin, the leading supplier of sailcloth materials. XT features a highly specialised UV-resistant coating and is woven to produce a structure that guarantees strength.

- Smaller yarn with 150 x 150 Denier
- Tighter woven process
- 10% stiffer final resign coating
Engineered with double-coated technology, XTC Tex’s secret is in every yarn. First, a resistant resin is applied to the yarn even before it is woven, then it’s applied again after weaving for additional strength. The result is a much lighter fabric that’s five times more tear resistant. Used in the leading edge and struts, XTC Tex is highly durable, feels direct, and remains stable under load.
Performance FEATURES
- Stiff and ultra-light dual resin-coated woven fabric
- Minimised deformation and elongation under force
- High modulus yarn that's durable and tear-resistant
- Significantly lighter and stiffer than traditional Dacron
- Extremely responsive steering that's direct and efficient
Specifications
- Weight = 130g/m2
- 15% overall kite/wing weight reduction
- 25% lighter than traditional Dacron and other normal inflatable material
- 5 times more tear resistance
- 50% less elongation compared to standard material
- 60% better recovery of material and significant increase of form stability under load
- XTC is used in leading edge and struts
- Double coated technology, firstly as a single yarn, then additionally after weaving
