Dynea Tex is a highly specialised fabric engineered without compromise. While 32 times stronger than traditional Dacron, it’s also 30% lighter, stiffer and more precise than other normal materials used in inflatable kites.

Utilising the strength of Dyneema kite lines, we’ve taken the same Ultra PE Fibers and woven them into a lightweight fabric to give the optimum balance between responsiveness and long-term performance.

XT cloth is used in our inflatable structures to allow them to twist while balancing stability and stiffness. XT has high tenacity for performance, developed exclusively in partnership with Teijin, the leading supplier of sailcloth materials. XT features a highly specialised UV-resistant coating and is woven to produce a structure that guarantees strength.

XT Light has extremely high tenacity and is 15% lighter than our traditional XT cloth. Its high performance is suited to our inflatable structure material for the best balance between stability and stiffness. XT Light is developed exclusively in partnership with Teijin, the leading supplier of sailcloth materials. It’s woven to be strong and features a specialised UV-resistant coating.

Performance FEATURES

Specifications

Engineered with double-coated technology, XTC Tex’s secret is in every yarn. First, a resistant resin is applied to the yarn even before it is woven, then it’s applied again after weaving for additional strength. The result is a much lighter fabric that’s five times more tear resistant. Used in the leading edge and struts, XTC Tex is highly durable, feels direct, and remains stable under load.
